McKenzie Laurent: “Although she be but little, she is fierce.” Growing up in a town full of athletic success and tradition, Kimberly Wisconsin has molded her love for sports. In 2014 she moved to Milwaukee to study and play volleyball at Cardinal Stritch University. As a committed student and athlete, she has also found time to chase her dreams of being a Sports Broadcaster. She is a part-time teammate at ESPN Milwaukee and joins the Milwaukee Torrent in their second season as the sideline reporter. Tanner Burke: Born in Buffalo NY, in the middle of four straight Super Bowl losses, some will say Tanner was destined to become a passionate fan of several unsuccessful sports franchises.  After moving to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University in 2010. With his love to entertain and make people laugh, he has worked as an announcer for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, an engineer at Fox Sports Wisconsin, an on-air host with Milwaukee Public Television, as well as spending time acting for local short and feature length films. You can catch Tanner weekdays at Noon EST on Halftime, and Tuesday mornings at 10 am EST on Pick Six.

Barry Nelson: Barry brings a wealth of sports knowledge with him to Brew Sports having covered everything from high school to major league sports over the last 17 years. He has worked as a production assistant in Hollywood, as well as a sports producer and play by play voice for local high school sports in Wisconsin. Nelson brings his passion and expertise to Brew Sports as the co-host of College Road Trip & Inside the Park with Ryan Thies every Monday night at 6 pm EST.

Ryan Thies: Ryan comes to Brew Sports after covering Kansas State athletics for two years. Growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, Thies is part of the rare group of Arizona sports fans. Although a fan of major professional sports, nothing quite caught his eye like the atmosphere of college sports. The student section, gameday atmosphere, and a renowned sense of pride are cited as his reasons why. Catch Ryan Monday’s at 6 pm EST on College Road Trip & Inside the Park with Barry Nelson. 

James Stewart Jr: James has been shooting, editing and Producing for local sports Pre and Post game shows since 2010. When he isn’t covering sports he’s watching them. Bucks, Brewers, Packers and everything in between. Joining the Brew Sports team is the perfect opportunity for James to jump out from behind the camera. Mitch Vomhof: A Milwaukee native, joins Brew Sports Net after 6 years of covering local Wisconsin sports and the Milwaukee Bucks with ESPN’s TrueHoop Network. He brings both a passion for dunks and a level-headed view of team dynamics together to provide unique insight into the league. Catch him Tuesday’s at 6 pm EST on Double Dribble with Jimmy Carlton.

Jimmy Carlton: Jimmy is the sports editor at OnMilwaukee. After earning a journalism degree from Northwestern University, Jimmy lived in Chicago, New York City and Dallas, but ultimately returned to his native Milwaukee to cover the local teams and stories he grew up with and loves. He’s covered the NBA, NFL, MLB and NCAA for three years, and also enjoys covering – and playing – soccer when he can. Catch him Tuesday nights at 6 pm EST on Double Dribble with Mitch Vomhof.

Simon Provan: A founding member of 2 Up Front, Simon has been involved with soccer since the early 80’s, with his passion for the sport only growing since then.  While Simon comes from a family of professional soccer players, his professional focus on the game has been as a writer and broadcaster. Along with being heard on Brew Sports, you can hear Simon on broadcasts for the Milwaukee Torrent and Alverno College (NCAA D3 Women’s Soccer). Catch him Wednesday’s at 11 am EST on 2 Up Front with Baxter Colburn.






Ken Williams:  Ken is a local personality seen on stage, screen, and often in the rough.  He loves watching golf, he loves talking about it even more. Catch him Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm EST on Tee Time with Connor Cacciottolo and Nick Zurich.





Connor Cacciottolo: Connor is a recent Marquette graduate from Chicago who has a dual love for sports and comedy. An avid golfer, and recreational softball player, he gives good insight 80% of the time, all the time. Catch him Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm EST on Tee Time with Ken Williams and Nick Zurich.






Nick Zurich:  Nick is a former athlete who’s NFL-dream was quickly shattered upon arriving at the campus of UW-Platteville for camp and realizing he’d be 7th on the depth chart at Center.  However, that only grew his hunger for knowledge (and opinion) for sports and he now serves as editor and chief for  Catch him Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm EST on Tee Time with Ken Williams and Connor Cacciottolo.

Armen Saryen: You could say Armen’s broadcast career started as soon as he learned to talk. A Milwaukee-area native and sports fanatic his entire life, Armen graduated from Marquette University in 2006 with a degree in broadcasting and has worked in sports radio ever since. Armen currently produces and co-hosts The Mitch Nelles Show on The Big 920 in Milwaukee.
